Accessibility Statement
How archr aims to be usable by everyone, where it falls short, and how to ask for help.
Last updated 2 October 2026
Our commitment
archr is for archers and clubs of all ages and abilities, and we want it to be usable by everyone. Our aim is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
Accessibility is checked as the site is built, including automated tests for key screens such as scoring and the score editor. A full independent accessibility audit has not yet been carried out, so this statement describes an aim, not a certified result.
What is built in
- Keyboard-operable controls with visible focus indicators.
- Light and dark themes and several colour profiles in Settings.
- Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops.
- Labelled form fields and descriptive error messages.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected for animated backgrounds.
Known limitations
- Some visual content, such as charts, graphs and target-face illustrations, may not yet have complete text alternatives.
- Printable target-face PDFs are practice artwork made for printing, not accessible documents.
- Scoring a round by tapping a target face is harder with a screen reader or switch device; numeric end entry is available as an alternative where the round supports it.
- Pages from third parties, such as Stripe payment pages and content such as GIFs, are outside archr's control.
If any of this stops you using archr, contact us and we will help you do what you need another way.
